@61020d48 And that's why I like people like you working on problems like this. :)
The worst incidents always come from engineers who have the attitude of, "it's not a big deal if my system fails, because someone else's system will prevent an incident." Chain enough people like that together on a project and you have an accident waiting to happen.
@61020d48 The concept of intelligence is admittedly a flawed one - it implies some sort of biologically innate ability across broad spectrums of thought, when in reality it can vary from domain to domain, and usually what you're measuring is more of "How interested is this person in learning and applying the things they learn, without being overcome by self-doubt about their ability to do so, preventing them from putting forth the time and effort?"
Regardless, it describes you. :)
@61020d48 Can't tell you how happy this makes me :) I've not said much over the years, but I've always felt how it's terrible that you're so intelligent but haven't been able to contribute much.
@61020d48@804a4a50 I have a Galaxy S22 Ultra and I adore it.
Out of curiosity, how do you use a smartphone? Screencasting of some sort to your computer?
@61020d48 I'm just so glad that your knowledge isn't going to waste. This benefits the world. Economic activity and efficient use of capital literally translates to not just quality of life, but literal lives (as there's an actuarial cost of life in countless fields). And energy is a core element of most economic activity.
