My husband didn't get PTO (sick or vaycay) at his job, so I can think of like 3 times when he's called in sick in the last 11 years. He was a trooper and even worked with Coof (didn't encounter other coworkers bc like 3 guys total worked at the shop).

 @7502a322 Are these older men who dropped out of school young bc they had to bust their asses to help family/survive? Or are these participation trophies kids they refused to hold back?  My dad had a really hard time dealing with the embarrassment of reading issues and not having a diploma, so would act like a tough guy about it all to hand wave it away.
