With PTO so prevalent, most dudes don't call in. My husband didn't get PTO (sick or vaycay) at his job, so I can think of like 3 times when he's called in sick in the last 11 years. He was a trooper and even worked with Coof (didn't encounter other coworkers bc like 3 guys total worked at the shop).
