You will need to open a channel before you can send or receive bitcoin over lightning and nostr. 

 Why no zaps? 

 Maybe try using Zeus wallet and connecting it to your lightning node. You can add your lightning URL or lightning address to your Nostr profile to receive zaps. Once Zeus is set up, when you send a zap it should open in Zeus to finish the payment. If you are using tor you might have to try without depending on how your lightning node is set up.
