just a hint: the government changed medicare rebates for ecg a year or two ago, in some instances making it more tedious to get an ecg.
the next time you have a massive reading on your pulse oximeter, consider calling an ambulance (if you have insurance cover) because if they think your heart is dicky paramedics will automatically whip out the ecg machine, in my experience. this would make diagnosis much simpler for you. also, heart things can happen at random times, and an ambo is a good way to get a reading while stuff is actually happening.
ps i am not qualified to give medical advice, and wouldn’t over the internet anyway - but maybe the problems with organising an ecg are something to discuss with your gp practice?
friend tells me svt is very treatable with medication.
be well 💐

showed this to the nurse educator in my lounge room who instantly said “probably SVTs - super ventricular tachycardia”

tobacco - my one true love.
now, just the smell of someone smoking outdoors makes heads turn.
a filthy, disgusting habit but i will never not miss smoking 😢
my grandmother was 80 something when she was granted a day away from hospital for some family occasion. she asked a cousin if she could have a cigarette, and as he lit it for her she started to cough. and she coughed for the next ten minutes til there was only one puff left then she inhaled deeply and coughed some more … and when she stopped coughing turned to my cousin and said “thanks, john … i really enjoyed that…”

she had undiagnosed bipolar disorder, an abusive partner, and had to live with relentless racism. i’d be angry too.
my mother had undiagnosed bipolar disorder (no racial trauma) and went out of her way every day to let my brothers and me know how much we were resented. this wasn’t because of mental illness, but because she was just a horrible person.
Nina Simone’s daughter is entitled to talk about her experiences -
it’s a pity, though, that no one wants to talk about Nina’s achievements (and extraordinary talent) without the other stuff. Nina wasn’t actively selling books about child-rearing, or promoting hate the way some sell-air-brities do.
sometimes i don’t think the mistakes others make are ours to judge
