now, just the smell of someone smoking outdoors makes heads turn. 
a filthy, disgusting habit but i will never not miss smoking 😢

my grandmother was 80 something when she was granted a day away from hospital for some family occasion. she asked a cousin if she could have a cigarette, and as he lit it for her she started to cough. and she coughed for the next ten minutes til there was only one puff left then she inhaled deeply and coughed some more … and when she stopped coughing turned to my cousin and said “thanks, john … i really enjoyed that…”
