Wait, if true socialism has never actually been implemented anywhere, has true capitalism ever occurred? Governments always impose restrictions on businesses, from licensing, to inspections, to taxes.
I don’t get it. A Nazi still has to go to trial for something that happened about 80 years ago, but I’m supposed to move on, forgive, and forget the liberal fucks who ruined the world three years ago. So is it good and right to hold grudges or not?
@90dc8ae8 I've been told that she's actually a very intelligent politician and only racist republicans think otherwise. The person who said that was a liberal 'tard, though.
@c215902f I love that the 15 minute city turned into an excuse to further the police state and raise money. Really shows what the government actually cares about. Instead, they could have used the concept to alter zoning policies to encourage the concept by making sure people had everything they needed within a 15-minute walking distance, and made nicer sidewalks or bike paths to navigate the distances.
@202b1ed5 It was the single deadliest plague known to man. It wiped out .01% of the world’s population in the early 21st century. The death and destruction it wrought has been traced back to the Disgraced One Term Quadruple Impeached President, Donald Trump. And I quote “he lied, people died.”
@b42b2f3c I stopped listening to them a few years back when they started acting mindlessly liberal. Although that’s mostly the fault of the female cohost. They’ve had bad luck with those. She hasn’t become any less insufferable.
Another podcast I’m returning to, Skeptic’s Guide to the Universe. This time, they’re interviewing a woman who insists that MRNA vaccines are the greatest, most wonderfullest thing ever. I swear she has responded to EVERY ONE of their questions with “that’s a great question” and all I can think of is Dvorak complaining about that.
@669563d8 If the dead can vote, then dead presidents can protest Trump. Although I'm sure he meant other countries' leaders as "presidents" even if that isn't their title.
@90dc8ae8 That fire is creating more jobs than any President in U.S. history. No joke, Jack. And popcorn agrees. More votes than any previous President, too.
@669563d8 This reminds me of college. Once a year, people camped out on the quad (in their expensive tents) for a night to "experience homelessness." They'd come out of talking about what a deep, life altering experience it was and how much more it made them in touch with needy. In reality, it was just a lame Burning Man-like event.
But hey, don't get in the way of a college student and their attempts at being profound.
@34b3698a@2a48eef0 Yes, but that description doesn’t demonize people for not buying into corporate control. You don’t have an iPhone? are you a Nazi?
Although it is funny to link alt-right with, say, Firefox, when that’s the most flaming gaggle of faggots in tech.
why the fuck do i keep hearing people say “five times cheaper” or something like that? Wouldn’t they mean “a fifth as expensive”? Five times less doesn’t make any sense. Is this that “new math” people speak of?
