@3967703f That's interesting to me because I think humans almost never do things the hard way, and that our quest for the easiest path has caused us a world of problems.
A moment of thanks to Senator Dianne Feinstein for her work on the 1994 assault weapon ban, and for her broad commitment to the environment, education, and basic human rights. While I do think it's possible to hold an office for too long, I think it's important that people recognize all that she accomplished while she was there.

@3967703f As criticism grows, so will his outsized behavior. His insecurity guarantees tantrums and his obscene wealth ensures that these outbursts affect millions, if not the planet itself.
@NEW1 Thanks for your reply. In that example, how does the organizer (the leader?) differ from a ruler? Is it fair to say that the goal isn't the absence of rulers, per se, but their reduction to the absolute minimum?
@e216acce@Elon Musk Musk was given a chance to address world hunger at a cost of six billion dollars, a fraction of his wealth. In his decision to turn the discussion into an unfunny meme he defined himself as selfish and disinterested, an angry teenager poking holes in his bedroom wall.
