The carnage that is coming for regular people that do not understand what’s going on is going to be painful and when they see bitcoiners doing well they will hate our guts and will vote for any politician that say they will pass any laws to harm us
When I first got into bitcoin I watched antonopoulos say not your keys not you coin about 30 times in a video. I didn’t know what he meant at the time but as I watched people who trusted others with their coin lose their coins i realized not you keys not your coin
There is no second best
I’m not disappointed with saylor I’m disappointed in the plebs that would think he would be for the sovereign individual Saylor is a suit
Good news is saylor can’t tell you how to use your bitcoin. And we can’t tell him how to use his
It’s all about tradeoffs
Single sig with a passphrase is great option for the majority of people
Multisig is great for people holding significant amounts of coin or public bitcoiners.
Not saying Multisig is only for people that hold a lot of coin I’m saying if the bitcoin someone personally holds is a significant portion of someone’s net worth multi sig would be a good option
Multisig is also great for protecting you from malware attacks if you use different hardware wallets from different vendors
Tradeoffs for multisig is you have to backup each xpub from each signer.
But it is fairly easy to back up the wallet especially using sparrow
For me personally I do not want my long term savings easily accessible
