You have to try Aerospace as a window manager i use it combined with Borders. But BentoBox looks good too :)  

 A userfriendly Linux is for Debian base Ubuntu or Mint. For a Arch base i would say Manjaro. But you can create a userfriendly Linux with every distro you just need a little bit of customization.
