#SSI and #disability benefits should not require people to live at the edge of financial disaster; we should WANT people to build up an emergency fund, save for their kids education, or get into better housing!

 This #caturday an outdoor cat I first met in 2020 and have had an ongoing friendly but somewhat guarded relationship with came onto my porch for the first time while I was sitting there and climbed directly into my lap. He gave himself a thorough licking, my hand a polite one, and slept for an hour and a half.
