Oddbean new post about login | logout My cats has been sick lately and they can’t quite pinpoint what’s going on. I know, she’s 17 1/2… but I’ll never be ready for ‘that day’. It’s been expensive, very expensive, but she’s worth it. She’s stable - just some lab work and symptoms that are unusual. She’s been my little everything my entire adult life. We have a special bond. We’re going to the vet again tomorrow for more tests — could you please keep my lil Mac in your thoughts? She’s the bestest baby. @d6c53e4a I feel this! I have a 16+ year old doggo who is slowing down and aging visibly, but as much extra work and sometimes inconvenience a senior pet is, he is still worth it. It’s such a balancing act too, determining if he’s still comfortable and not just staying here in my behalf. @d6c53e4a I hope everything goes smoothly, I know the feeling of loathing for "that day". I have a pet rabbit who is only like 3 1/2, he's still got a number of years ahead of him, but being a first time pet owner, it scares me to death. Best wishes with everything!
