Quando il mio nodo lightning è offline per una caduta di corrente, Alby Hub mi avvisa con una email e in quel frangente non posso nè inviare nè ricevere sats.

What makes you stop and admire a painting?
Is it perhaps the combination of colors that catches your eye, the play of light and shadow that creates depth, or the expression of the soul that shines through the faces or landscapes portrayed?
For me, perhaps it is the idea the artist has hidden behind each brushstroke, the story the painting tells, or the emotion it manages to evoke, as if suddenly time stopped and a silent dialogue was established between me and the work.
And you?

I'm actually surprised too that they like still lifes more than landscapes, I can't explain why.
Landscape gives me a wider breath, it pushes me to look outside, still life on the other hand points directly inside me, it is more painful to paint them.
A true painter, for me, is the one who can paint what is ordinary into something extraordinary, transforming reality through his unique gaze and sensitivity, giving new emotions and meanings to what ordinary eyes cannot grasp.

I can speak for myself, I never convey messages, I like to convey the emotions that strike me as I paint.
This last painting, for example, is not even finished and already I am satisfied with it, and I don't get that often.
Today on easel... work in progress

LE COSE CHE PENSANO

Silent thoughts flow among fruits, leaves and marble stone, each object whispering ancestral secrets.
In their quiet dialogue, time stands still,
and matter dreams of what is not yet.

L'ho fatto proprio per questo motivo.
Anche mia mamma mi aspetta sempre alla finestra anche se non abito più lì, per me è un'immagine iconica.
Grazie mille per lo zap π
Where else on the Internet do you get small donations for what you are able to do and to be, without prostituting yourself?
In my opinion, only #Nostr.
Having one's own painting style means developing a distinctive way of expressing oneself through painting, which is recognized by unique elements such as the use of colors, technique, composition, subjects, and personal interpretation of reality.
It is a combination of artistic choices that make a work instantly recognizable as belonging to a particular artist.
This personal style is not only a matter of technique, but also reflects the artist's worldview, cultural influences, and emotions. It may evolve over time as the artist experiments and grows, but it still remains characterized by a consistency that binds the works together.
I don't know if I have it, what do you say?

I agree: developing an aesthetic is a journey of personal discovery and confrontation with one's own shadows.
The authentic artist agrees to confront his or her limitations and evolve, even at the cost of destroying what he or she has already created.
This process is at odds with the market's desire to fix the artist in a recognizable and repeatable style.
But it is precisely in the tension between these two poles that true art lies: not in the construction of a brand, but in the constant search for self, even at the risk of being misunderstood or unappreciated.
Thank you so much! π«π¨
It seems that great collectors are like art whisperers, they sense the ineffable qualities that transcend mere value. Theyβre drawn to the stories, emotions, and a sense of connection that art offers. Maybe they're trying to capture a piece of that mystery for themselves, something words can't fully express.
After all, beauty might not always align with value, but it certainly resonates with the soul.
It may seem like nonsense to talk about analog #art in a digital venue such as #Nostr, but for this very reason its presence takes on even more significant value.
In a context dominated by the digital, analog art represents a bridge to the roots of human expression, a reminder of the manuality, imperfection and tangibility that are in danger of being lost in the immateriality of the virtual.
Bringing analog art to a digital place like Nostr is a way to remind us that, despite technological evolution, the essence of art lies in its ability to communicate universal emotions through any medium, whether traditional or contemporary.
In art, the return to analog has particular significance.
Many artists continue to prefer traditional mediums such as painting, drawing and sculpture, even in an environment dominated by digital tools.
This is because while digital offers innovative tools and new possibilities, analog maintains a fundamental role in art because of its ability to express human touch, materiality, and authenticity.
The future of art will likely continue to see an integration and coexistence between these two worlds, rather than a supremacy of one over the other.
Radical people always scare me a little because they tend to see the world in black and white, without considering the nuances and complexities of reality.
For me, #Nostr is the revenge of analog over digital, because it brings communication back to a more authentic and direct dimension, away from the centralized control of large platforms and the incessant tracking of data.
Nostr represents a return to the principles of decentralization, where connection between people takes place without intermediaries, recovering the simplicity and freedom of human interactions, similar to what took place in the analog world.
