Last year around Dec. 25th, we had 3 straight days of freezing weather. I lost many plants, and the ones that survived haven't done well at all this year. Our lemon tree produced about 80 lemons last year. This year ... none. I won't replace anything because each plant now costs 2.5 times what it cost 3-yrs ago. My beautiful backyard may be heading back to whence it came ... a surly, rat's nest of dying vegetation.

 I won't watch anymore politicians being interviewed. They never answer the question asked. They ignore the real question and wander off into subject matter they think makes them sound important. 

 RIP David McCallum. I remember you most from U.N.C.L.E -- Illya Kuryakin. Your talent will be remembered.
