People push off saving for the future since we have branded it as retirement. Why save in your 20's when you won't see the return until you're 65?
If instead we brand it as "financial freedom" then it will incentivize people to start earlier. The more sacrifices you make in your 20's (i.e. the more you increase your savings rate), the faster you will reach financial independence.
