Is probably still a number one objection from experts and power users who refuse to fathom that e-mail protocols are a viable option for instant messaging even if it demonstrably works, is fast and secure :) We'd be happy if someone engaged in a proper comparison with xmpp and matrix specs and impls, really the only three messenging protocols deployed and implemented at scale. How many people do you know that have lost their messaging history on Whatsapp or Signal, photos etc during mobile phone transitions or breakage or through other shenenigans?

@c9732bb3@01fad1b7 no, delta chat does not integrate with sms messaging. And its maybe a bit premature to recommend delta chat over iMessage for people who otherwise like and are comfortable with iMessage. Maybe ask the question on the support.delta.chat forum to get more opinions?

@e0b15770 there is currently no group or dev focusing on MS365 support which we imagine to need a lot of work to become an easy to use path and integrate well with MS tooling and infra
