I'm still really enjoying #nixOS but I have so much work to do on my config. I end up avoiding using my laptop simply because I haven't had the time to figure out the Nix way of doing something. Does anyone attend a church that accepts #bitcoin donations? How does that work? I assume it is treated similarly by the IRS as far as being a tax-free institution goes? What about the tax writeoff the donator? Would that be the value at the time the donation was given?
And how does holding the sats practically work? A hardware wallet? Multisig?

TBH, I think that may be more of a personal thing. Without a doubt I'm sure plenty feel just like you. I, however, need to get my hands dirty and make mistakes. The one, who has 9 children, was saying how thankful, in a sense, he is that the world is so upside-down. The contrast of church life and secular life is so striking that you can't pretend that things are just fine. So of course we're discovering the Church. It's the only thing that could make sense
