He seems to be able to walk a very fine line yelling poor me, I'm being persecuted and disparaging the state, the judge, the district attorney et alia at the top of his lung and not get called on it. I guess they fear that any response on their part only works to his advantage.

 @0a5f14f0 I've never understood the willingness to give up all privacy in the browser. Most browsers take some info but Chrome is the worst. Google/Chrome/Gmail and I divorced when I scheduled a trip, received a confirm in Gmail and Google placed the event in my calendar without any intervention. So, if they are reading that.....In any event, I get the benefit of Chromium with Brave and get to keep most of my private things private.

 @3fe52772 People miss so much if they can't look around them with "childlike" (not childish) eyes to see the wonder in the world. I saw a hummingbird today and was totally enchanted. Your post reminded me, that even though we understand the science of the hummingbird, the experience of it is astonishing. Besides, we are finding out that maybe we don't understand the facts after all. The James Webb telescope seems to be potentially turning astrophysics on its head.

However, good government seems to be beyond our reach as GOP and Dem politicians will do anything to torpedo any initiative of the other regardless of the fact that it could make life better for their own constituents. Compromise has been replaced by "make the other guy look bad". In this environment, tax reform is a dream. We can't even get assault weapons off the street.
