I had quit all social media due to the amount of intrusion and mental noise they created.

True that. Good old days. Going to cyber cafes and creating Orkut profile and chatting with high school friends.
I passed high school around that time and was prepping to step into the graduation college.
Back in the days the internet used to be comparatively less chaotic compared to the current times.
I was not a regular user of Orkut though my profile was there until it was decommissioned. I remember starting to use Facebook as my friends back in the days have joined it and been coaxing me to send friend request on FB.
Just a bit curious.
How does hashtags work on Decentralised social network?
Is it the same as the other generic centralized social platforms.?
I'm not seeing a hashtag prompt while using one or more of them.

Just started out on Freefrom Nostr Client.
I like the clean and minimal settings panel for the user.
Also, no hefty signup and email verification.
Hopefully the decentralised social networking sees better future with positive use.
