 Ordered a 8GB RAM stick for the #NAS 🙂 

Currently only 4GB installed. This will also give me some more options to play around with #FreeBSD 😎 

 Used to run may #NAS with a #Linux distro.

Went full vanilla #FreeBSD some months ago with #ZFS 

One word: Awesome 😎

It is dead simple to use!

zpool create nas mirror /dev/ada0 /dev/ada2

The end. You have a RAID1 mirror.

 Question for the #ZFS guys/gals:

Is there something one should consider when doing a mirror (Two SSD's, RAID 1)? 🙂 

I normally only do:

zpool create example mirror /dev/ada1 /dev/ada2

(I'm no #ZFS expert at all)

 Running my #NAS with #FreeBSD is truly great.

I'm at the point where I forget that there is a os handling all of it.

Setup once and pretty much forget... it just works! 😎
