I consider myself average. Entered late 2020, even after lows in 22 I understood that goal is almost utopistic.
The "average" in US is much different from the average in EU, and they are much more different from the average anywhere else..
Few realise and understand how really sats are scarced and how little you will need to be the average bitcoiner in 10/20/30 years.
I do believe that in 2/3 cycles max the average person's goal would be 1Million sats.

Oh you are completely right! That was the first thing I said, you should have started before, but then the thing about wanting to protect him from volatility he maybe isn't ready for (again maybe I am biased and wrong) stopped me from doing what I know is right.

Oh well, ofc, I also do stack without caring too much about the price, and more about how much big my expenses will be in the near future: the less I need, the more I stack.
But you need conviction and thousands of hrs of study and learning to achieve that point.. at least for my own experience. The more I learnt about it, the less I was influenced by the value while stacking.
I do believe it's easier if plotted time before. Like, you have to think what kind of bull market or level of adoption you'll need in order to feel at ease on changing your personal situation and making bigger moves with less uncertainty.
I do believe this moment is different for everyone, but I also think generally the probability of that to happen increase exponentially after 2 cycles you are in at least, so like when you are approaching the third one.. and I am just guessing and make some random prediction as I am not there yet, not even had a full on cycle.
I would say when your dcaing does not move meaningfully in % of your stack, that means your average cost is so far from actual values, you will probably be fine just being on a bitcoin standard forever.. again, just guessing.
I have started repeating this little "mantra" to my self daily.

I am fortunate, and I am happy."
It's such a small thing you would thought is meaningless, but trust me, your subconscious will be affected by it..
