Hey nostr friends, its been a fun, mostly relaxing day. After church i started the turnover at the cabin, but the day was so beautiful that i had to go outside in the sun and enjoy it. Tomorrow i will finish at the cabin.
This afternoon i got on my mountain bike and rode our trails for a while, then we closed out the day with a ride on the Gator. While we were riding with the wind blowing in our faces, my husband said, "This is the life. But it wouldn't mean anything without you." I just reached out and held his hand. God has blessed me.

Good morning nostr friends, today we have church, then i'll be starting the turnover at the cabin later. Beyond that, it'll just be a nice Sunday hanging around here. Yesterday evening we were invited to go to dinner with some friends, so we did because we hadnt seen them in a while. But i just need to quit eating out i guess. We hardly ever eat out just for the fun of it, but when we do, i can always tell my body doesnt like it. Even supposedly "nice" restaurants leave me feeling not great. Good morning nostr, we woke up to a nice 61 F today, so it should be a gorgeous day. We were supposed to get a little storm with rain last nite, but we got nothing, oh well.
This morning i'm gathering up some kitchen stuff and some clothes to donate to the resale shop. That place gets unbelievably busy on sale days, especially for a small town. I think we get lots of out-of-towners come to shop, since the prices are so reasonable. I've also been hearing that our local food pantry cant keep up with the number of folks that they get. Signs of the times i guess. Well i dont have any this year, mine died off in the drought. But when they fruited, thats what they looked like. I do like the idea of seed swapping though. If mine comes back in spring i'll do that.
