 @bf3cb02a Yes, Telexes were expensive, all-caps, and my boss always tried to save money by abbreviating, which cut all readability & nuance. When he took me to the UK (from Adelaide, 1973) for future strategy meetings with our bosses, I insisted we try to keep folk back home informed and seek feedback via proper reports. No email, so long Telex it was!

Sadly, we still got closed down next year... :-(

 @0095f012 Best of luck. I had a detached retina (possibly the same thing) which was laser-stapled one sunday afternoon by a consultant who didn't tell me what he was doing! Been brilliant ever since; hope yours is too.

 @f884fa2b P45 already showed us those colours in 2016 when he mocked a disabled reporter... and the crowd cheered then, too. The last sentence you quoted is exactly on the money, and it's no less shocking for that!
