@bf3cb02a Yes, Telexes were expensive, all-caps, and my boss always tried to save money by abbreviating, which cut all readability & nuance. When he took me to the UK (from Adelaide, 1973) for future strategy meetings with our bosses, I insisted we try to keep folk back home informed and seek feedback via proper reports. No email, so long Telex it was! Sadly, we still got closed down next year... :-(
