I love our little town. Took my usual walk out of town and then back, bought some local milk at the local shop, talked to old farmers dropping in for the same. Ducklings swam down the Angus River as I passed. It was a good morning.

Reminds me, I heard an announcer on a edm station talking about "synth pioneers" and all I could think about was pioneers making synths out of natural materials and clearing a dance club out of the woods 😂

After a biggish night of drinking German beer and feeling like I'd done some damage to my knee playing volleyball, I thought I'd be out today.
But, I got up, did my 5km bushwalk and worked in the garden. I rubbed some comfrey salve on my knee and it feels pretty good now.
Wrapped up the day with the family, the sun shining through the new grapevine buds.

Feeling sore today after my weights session, but still put in a good amount of effort today.
Another few games of volleyball today, actually played well enough to impress some of the younger guys. Also got in a walk as well, sure I'll be sore tomorrow.

Another day of being paid to pay sport, this time a Netball clinic. Had a lot of fun. Thus afternoon, after buying my Oktoberfest beers, I had a solid weight session and uped some of my weight too.

This is accurate, you can't wake others yourself.
I'm lucky, in a way, that I had my awakening as a child. Those in power, those around me and government, either hurt me, lied to me or did nothing to protect me or all three. I realised very early that I was on my own, if I wanted anything, including safety, I had to provide that for myself, I became a prepper and survivalist before I knew what those things were.
So I've had many years to try and wake people up, unsuccessfully.
Even my wife called Jack from The Survival Podcast, "that crazy guy", until we had a 3 day blackout in summer and she feared she couldn't cool our kids (we could as I had a battery bank and inverter). But that scared her into buying a generator and storing food.
My friends also could not be convinced, but, overtime, have found their own ways. Now they are getting firearms licences and trying to buy rural property.
Live by example, live well, build and others will see that and start to think for themselves, if they are ready.

Starting to warm up here, spring is creeping up on South Australia. Worked up a sweat on my walk at the fiat mines and then some volleyball games, I love getting paid to play volleyball.

As a full time relief/temp teacher, by choice, you don't get much love from schools or students.
So, I was honoured when a student I've known for years asked me to attend a graduation for a leadership course he'd completed. It turned out his parents didn't attend, so I'm not sure if that's why he wanted me there. He also gave me this, as they were asked to thank those they invited, thanking me for talking about Bitcoin so much, what a way to get fired 😂.
I do talk about Bitcoin, and now Nostr, a lot.
