3 next objectives for getwired.app
- stop being a shit dev and get @Wired working properly
- steal @fiatjaf ‘s PoW relay and make Wired really easy to deploy as a client/relay combo w docker
- make it more fun
(also, maybe NIP 60/61 if i can get wallets working well for anons)
that’s what i wanna know too haha. i really like their company, and don’t think i ever interacted with them.
maybe they saw me tell jack to kill himself or something
the tension between US and China is like one of those ‘history doesn’t repeat, but it rhymes’ moments. feels like US is Carthage and China is Rome on more levels than you’d think.
- mercenaries are the defence companies. Chinese conscripts have a very strong sense of national identity.
- US’s power is primarily derived from commerce, whereas China has immense man-power
- China is a rising superpower, while the US is established
- China just copies everything the US does in defence lol
it is just a hack, so i disagree unless we actually achieve functioning algo feeds.
- trending doesn’t work. until we have functions algo feeds ^ trending is just bitcoin and ‘how good is nostr’ circlejerk threads, which imo doesn’t lead to follows for new users
- search is too much work if you assume a new user is initially indifferent to nostr
- topics (hashtags?) aren’t active, and id argue never will be if most of nostr is twitter clones, as that’s a remnant of old twitter.
