#NowPlaying Nick Cave & Warren Ellis - "Carnage"
This is their most recent studio album. Really hitting the spot right now. Glorious songwriting. Hats off to the pair of them.

1. This album by "Field Factory" is wonderful.
2. I can look forward to a full working week ahead.
3. I'm playing #RuneQuest on Tuesday. Starting the "Six Seasons In Sartar" campaign, so no spoilers, please.
In the past decade, the tories have remade UK in their own image. Conniving, corrupt, mendacious, untrustworthy. This is the image of Britain abroad now. Well played. C^nts.
#NowPlaying - MC Tunes vs. 808 State - "The North At Its Heights"
This is an old favourite. A lot of hip-hop leaves me cold, but this is great. One-hit wonder, but it was a massive achievement to have the hits they did.

#NowPlaying 808 State - "808 90"
A real blast from the past, but it doesn't sound dated because 808 were always off on their own trip. Definite techno for listening to rather than dancing.

#NowPlaying Dave Brubeck Quartet - "Jazz Goes to Junior College"
One of the first albums I remember enjoying when I was very young. Great to revisit it 50-odd years later.

Hello friends. I need to ask for your assistance one more time to cover some unexpected medical expenses which have come my way. If you could help with donations or boosts, I'd be immensely grateful.

#NowPlaying Lee 'Scratch' Perry - "Arkology"
A selection of recordings from Perry's famous Black Ark studio. Marvellous dubby stuff. It's even cheering me up a bit.
@0e603666 Thank you very much. Very much not having a good day here. Bet it's because I started it with listening to that Roger Waters abomination. It's been downhill since then.
Could I possibly trouble you for some help again, dear friends? I've been scuppered by some unexpected medical expenses and am unable to afford them.
I need a total of about £250 ($290, €280, €275), and would be extremely grateful for any help.

@b1727a11 I don't know what's wrong with my country. You'd think they'd remember the amount of crap the conservatives put us through in the 80s and 90s, but no, they decided on another 13 years of them, and even worse in many respects.
I know that as we get older we tend to the world is going to the dogs, but the UK was bad enough for me to leave in '92, and as far as I can see the whole country's gone to googly-eyed shit since then.
#NowPlaying The Sursiks - "Suave Side Of The Moon"
In a final attempt to clear my brain of the aural mogadon that's Roger Waters' new version of DSOTM, I'm listening to this clearly superior version.

#NowPlaying helen_g - "Ghost Echoes"
This is hitting the spot. Exactly what's needed to clear the post-Waters dross out of my head. It's reminding me of some of Pete Namlook's work. And that is a recommendation.

@0e603666 He seems to be playing the original album at half-speed or something. It's soporifically slow. The new vocals are truly bad. But not so bad it's good, just very very bad.
#NowPlaying Roger Waters - "Dark Side Of The Moon Redux"
Congratulations Roger, I've finally found an album that's *worse* than DSOTM. He keeps fucking talking.
@0e603666 Oh wow. That's brutal.Thank you. Now I want to hear it even more! 🤣 I mean, remember that I'm the man who likes Christopher Lee's "symphonic metal concept album" as something that is so awful it almost rips the universe apart.

Of all of the members and ex-members of Yes, Bruford is my favourite.
I wasn't going to look for the Waters album, but I think I'll have to now, just to hear what caused that reaction. 😊
