It’s smaller to start, but ultimately like @jb55 says: long-term credibility. That’s not something most people are interested in committing to.

 The premise is flawed. You get a dating app to find a spouse, and if the dating app is doing its job properly, you’d delete the app. But the app keeps going because people don’t find a spouse and just use it to hook up instead.
