Experimenting with cable management continues. Tucking them all under the microcontroller board kinda makes it looks like face tentacles.

So far the best results are with opening each servo, desoldering the cables, cutting them to size, and re-soldering. Obviously I'm not going to do that for, say, 20 kits for a workshop, with 8 servos per kit.

 I find it very funny how job requirements list things like familiarity with version control systems and knowledge of algorithms, while in my experience running programming workshop the best predictor of a beginner programmer performance is their ability to type on the keyboard. I've seen people bending over backwards using copy-paste and auto-completion and all sort of, frankly ingenious, tricks to avoid having to type the name of a variable, because finding the letters on the keys takes longer. 

 Got the camera streaming working on the @9aa91172 Xiao ESP32-S3 Sense board with #circuitpython. 

Unfortunately, we can't add the board definition until Seeedstudio assigns a USB VID/PID for that board. If you have contact with them, maybe nudge them a bit?
