Here’s what my #Bitcoin Calendar looks like for the month of November. Every orange dot is a historical Bitcoin related event. At the moment I’ve collected over 600 of those — from “first ever Bitcoin things” to the most amusing Bitcoin obituaries.
I’m currently working on open sourcing and turning it into an automated self sufficient project.
Does this sound interesting to you? Are you willing to collaborate in any way?
Let me know!

Got invited to participate in the “#Bitcoin vs #shitcoin💩” debate. Please share your thoughts or talks and articles you find enlightening.
Got it figured out, but would love to hear some strong takes on the topic.
Also, what are the most interesting / legit points shitcoiners make in defense of their position?
Will #zap the best ideas. Repost for a more thorough discussion. https://i.nostr.build/KrJ45h3BvzuzNtzt.jpg
I got one.
I’m now in Tbilisi in a middle of probably the biggest journey of my life and as I’m renting a flat somewhat downtown, I hear a lot of revving bikes just as most of people living in capitals do. Don’t get me wrong - I’m a huge fan of internal combustion engines, yet I wonder about Tom’s take on externalities.
If you haven’t set up your own #Nostr relay, this comprehensive guide by @rodbishop is for you.

So interesting and at the same time somewhat sad to see how hopeful cypherpunks were regarding the prospects of privacy. Back in 1995 it seemed like privacy was getting momentum and most people would naturally embrace privacy oriented tools.
"I conclude that privacy marketing will be an important value-add for
Internet commerce. It will be a terrific way to gain market share at
the expense of the competition -- or to lose much of your market share,
if you find yourself on the wrong end of a privacy campaign." – Nick Szabo
29 years later it's obvious that the fight for privacy is never-ending. Luckily there is an intolerant minority of privacy advocates that stands behind its principles and works hard on creating and popularizing privacy tools.
Embrace privacy!

Here's a question to early cypherpunks and #Bitcoin historians:
How come the first BIP was created on 19th of August 2011, but the announcement of the new Bitcoin Enhancement Proposal aka BEP was made on bitcointalk only a month later.
What's the correct timeline here? Was the first BIP originally a BEP to later get changed to be a BIP?
