Hey nostr, its the end of another beautiful day. We went out on the Gator this evening to see if we could still find those dogs that scared me this morning, but didnt see them. Hopefully they moved on. On another note, my husband mentioned that he might need to put down our old dog Lou. He can barely get around anymore, is mostly deaf, and seems to be in pain. I hate the thought of putting him down, but i know the day might come soon. Our pets become part of the family, and we love them so much. Anyway, yall have a good evening nostr friends. Stay happy, healthy, and free. #grownostr #Lou #homesteading https://nostrcheck.me/media/8d9d2b77930ee54ec3e46faf774ddd041dbb4e4aa35ad47c025884a286dd65fa/b4527669fa3c7f2e7c69cce71b8dfca9118543aa66d78617643f585054d5a1e8.webp
TBeautiful sunset! Glad the dogs were gone… And so sorry to hear about your dog. Our pets are like family members, and it is very tough when we lose a loved one. 💜🫂
Sorry to hear this news. Very rough. Hang in there
I had to put mine down last month. I feel ya.
Of course they are part of the family 😢 but sometimes there is no choice
I think our companionship with dogs makes life sweeter not only for their presence but for their reminder that life is short and precious
dogs don't even taste good. the world would be far better off without them
I’ve had to make that hard decision. I knew it was time and couldn’t let him suffer the pain anymore. Hurts to this day and it’s been 6 years. https://image.nostr.build/b013d87c86b19286d6efc3dc49e3073a48dfc74417c07caeae6f5e801d0c3c6b.jpg
Not easy. Had to do that 4 years ago during Covid. Kids had to say goodbye and only one person (me) was allowed at the vet. I’ve endured real conflict, but that was no easy day.
Mine hated the vet so I took care of it myself. Figured I owed him that much. He got me through some hard times. They are definitely here for a purpose.
Hugs. Pets are definitely part of the family.
Just went through this with mine. I'm so sorry it's tough for sure. They are amazing parts of our lives
