Police are actually trained to lie to elicit confessions, and excused from consequences in courtrooms every day.  Citizens are accused of lying to police every day, and harvest the consequences in convictions for "filing a false report" or "obstructing justice."  Now that's what I call A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD.

Uvalde proved once and for all that cops are worse than useless, they're in the way.
There's a name for people who rely on police to protect them. They're called "victims." Police have no obligation to protect us. The SCOTUS agrees.
