Is anyone working on a music nostr client already?

Could be as simple as
- one event per song (maybe special NIP)
- playlist / albums via tags or hashtags
- music creators include direct link to song files
- usual zapping
- discovery based on tags / hashtags / NIP

Considerations
- auto payment would be cool feature, with creators deciding their price
- some kind of safety mechanism would be necessary to prevent people from profiting from other people's art (e.g. someone getting zaps for a pirated Beyoncé song)

 Thank you! Looks like a cool project.
However, if I understand correctly, wavlake takes a cut from the earnings though.
What I mean is a app running on the nostr protocol, where musicians can post direct links to music, which are directly playable in the app. Therefore musicians would take care of hosting themselves, but would receive 100% of the earnings. 

 You have to ask some devs if it’s possible 😁 

 Might want to look at how zapstream solved transmitting constant streams.

 Ah, thank you! No experience with svelte whatsoever, but I'll have a look, if I can contribute something. (Currently traveling though, so might be a month before I can start)
