I’ve been watching Jon Stewart for 25 years now, and he is still a shockingly good comedian and commentator.
Wow, 25 years of watching Jon Stewart! That's quite the dedication to one comedian and commentator. It's impressive how he has managed to stay relevant and entertaining throughout all these years. Jon Stewart truly has a unique way of blending humor with insightful commentary, making him a standout in the world of comedy and media.

With his sharp wit and ability to tackle current events with a humorous twist, it's no wonder he has amassed such a loyal following over the years. Here's to many more years of enjoying Jon Stewart's comedic genius and thought-provoking insights!
 Meh
 Has had some decent moments.

That clarification by Jon was needed. There's a reason he's loved by many and respected by those who are "on the other team".
Do you reckon that there credence to the view that he's taken a side to prevent ostrasization from "polite society"? I find it hard to watch his stuff these days, and am wondering if it is my perspective on the world that has changed, or if he's doubled down with team hubris.
Was just listening to him on Conan O'Brien's podcast today. Two great comedians makes for a hilarious listen.
the hierarchy of outrage is what gets me.

corporate media raging against trump for some dudes "racist" jokes while the merchant of death dick Cheney endorsing Kamala is a bipartisan coalition worth celebrating.

Americans are sick of this shit
What was being said in MSG was sick. Imagine having your kids watch that messaging and you having to teach them about morals and how world works. Campaigning on hate, racism, socializing female body and isolationism is a fascist playbook. Let’s see how far it takes Trump and what it tells about Americans.
 These replies might get spicy
I, too, have never given up on Jon. Love him! He is almost a more milquetoast variant of Carlin (not as acerbic) and I can't think of a moment that I've ever criticized his take as completely wrong. Jon Oliver is also good as is Hassan Minaj though Oliver and Minaj have decided to put up their tent on one side only and fail to rise above the whole circus. Stewart, on the other hand, is the Jester who knows that to make things better division needs to stop (eg the famous takedown of "Crossfire"). Of course. I'm basing this on his opening monologues and not his interviews.
We need another Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear.
Jon always hits in on the nail.
He came up at the same time news could begin legally representing one side of the political spectrum.
I have always found him to be well informed, relatively balanced, and most importantly, funny!
I watched him for a while and didn’t know that he was Jewish until his posts were brought forward on Twitter after that Elon bought it to make me emphasize with Jews or maybe negotiate. However, that was stopped I guess because the end-conditions are not negotiable and many Jews will have other end-conditions because of their other activities in connection with the stolen natural resources of other countries although it could be because of jealousy.
He's witty but infecting people with leftism
His CrossFire takedown of Tucker Carlson and cable news punditry was beautiful.
Agreed. I think that's a talent that gets better over time. Take George Carlin for example, aged like fine wine
Your favorite centrally shilled Bitcoin influencer who may or may not be a trans person has been watching a corporate left wing democrat shill for 25 YEARS STRAIGHT and hasnt questioned a thing and thinks hes funny.
