 I have a growing list of concerns with Telegram, but let's strive to be fair & balanced in our reporting. In the main, this change looks to be part of a broader reorganization of the FAQ to incorporate more EU-specific citations. As others have pointed out, the phrase in question is still present; it's just been moved to a different heading.

 Both picked up on it, but it was actually moved to somewhere else in the FAQ. Thanks for the correction. I didn't see that earlier. Regardless of whether you trusted Telegram before, just know it was never private. They may have been based on declining government requests before, but that is most likely going to change moving forward. Having a public CEO is an easy point of failure. Satoshi did it the right way.
