Well got my wife home from the ER and took my dog to the vet because all of a sudden her belly was pale yesterday. Good news my wife is doing good and should be doing better over the next few days. Bad news my old pup has autoimmune hemolytic anemia with a 50% chance to recover. Vet says it can manifest and worse within 24hrs. The pup is 13 and I guess the avg for Golden's is 12 years. So at least she beat her odds. I don't know how much longer the ole girl is going to be spending time with us and that breaks my heart. Tomorrow running a dual bday for my kids so with everything going on hopefully it runs smooth and is fun. Go tell your family and friends you love them and give those doggos some good treats and scratches https://image.nostr.build/318438f47c558c65fa02779fe470625d0ef446f78e9ea87c04bcdce5fdafbb9f.jpg

Stay strong brother, and pup. π
You know what you must be done. It's time. RIP doggo
Close but not yet. She's still walking some and eating fine. She's getting there and I wouldn't be surprised if she wait until we are all out of the house to die on her own. She's getting steak for dinner tonight and I have some beef ribs the the butcher cut small I'm going to give her. I don't think she will make it past the middle of the week. Vet said 50% meds help and if they do %50 it comes back this year. We've possibly got a little time which is good though. This way my kids can see her after school and spend some time with her at least
