I spent time there w the centenarians. Steep hills, intermittent fasting (they didn’t have a lot of food as children but had a positive demeanor about it leave the table a little hungry’ vs we don’t have food), close interpersonal relationship, music, improv poetry, joking / not taking selves too seriously, 500+ varieties of veggies specific to Sardinia. The centenarians live in the center of the island bc the coasts were often conquered. So they eat pork, lamb, cheese not fish like blue zone diets often assume.
That must have been a wonderful experience!
The best. Also visited Ikaria. The trees/plants in the yards = their medicine. They also have dances that go all night in different villages around the island. 90 year olds dancing until sunrise. Wild!
Sounds incredible! Touring Sardinia on a Vespa is on our bucket list.
That’s attainable!
Get a car for the mountain roads!
Is Sardinia a place to go?

I don’t know if it’s a thing 🤷♂️ but something I’ve wanted to do. My dad went to veterinary school in Bologna, and I have a few friends from that I keep in touch with. One of them did this on his honeymoon and had an incredible experience so I’ve always wanted to check it out.
