@ec78798f public transport was fine until Covid. Then it never really restarted. However, E-scooters for getting around and robots deliver the shopping 😂
@8976b041 Really? That's not what I've been told by various people who have lived in MK. It also wasn't my experience on my visits there.
@ec78798f what wasn't? Was your experience positive or negative?. Are you measuring somewhere by public transport?. For me, the cities biggest plus is the Parks Trust, the nature locations, the 22 million trees, the 50 miles of waterways, redways (for vat free cycling and scooters). The down sides: Shopping centre, city centre, tory MPs. Don't use public transport much myself. Oh, 25mins to London on train is a plus.
@8976b041 Public transport wasn't fine, to the point that I decided to walk from the train station to Walton Hall rather than try to get there by bus. Likewise with my trip to Linford Wood (I think it was) for the job interview.
@ec78798f in fairness, I wouldn't know. There are many estates in MK. There may be varying levels of service. Our No. 8 runs every 20 mins into town. Also the new MK connect service, where you schedule a pickup and destination and the minibus collects you via an app (at bus prices).
