A large portion of the article is a "he said - she said" fights between both parties, while the context of the surveillance act barely gets covered. A great way to distract people is to split them up and get them fighting with each other while their fundamental rights gets stripped away.

 Wow, thanks Rob. So insightful. I thought CNN passed the legislation before you enlightened me. We were commenting on the article barely mentioning the details of the law rather than the interpersonal drama as if it is a high school newspaper. Which is why CNN is trash.
