first of all: are you talking about the city or the state? it has some scetchy places but no one needs to go there. i live in the most dangerous state of the estados unidos mexicanos for more than 10 years. the most danger where i live  is food because it is so good that you overeat  easily 

 It's about a fraud... and once you discover the fraud and you start fighting it and you don't know who is behind it, then it becomes even more dangerous. No matter in which state or city.
And believe me, Mexico is my adopted home and my heart bleeds...!
