I think this is why online privacy is so intimidating. I actually try to make mine better but I always seem to find out later what ive been doing is subpar. I think it makes people want to throw their hands up. I guess proton is better than gmail. I love their suite of products too. The email aliases are awesome when using proton pass. Just makes it easy. 

 Yeah I hear where you’re coming from.  There’s a lot of companies that prey on lack of knowledge to make money.  So first I have to convince people on why privacy to begin with, then convince them to not use the scams.
