What about private zaps? Anonymous zaps? Profile zaps? 

This metric is referenced way too often, you should probably just remove it. Especially if it isn’t even close to accurate and can be easily manipulated. users attempt to draw signal from it. 

 Agreed, we will either find a way to keep it accurate, or remove it.
