There’s an earlier book by the same artist (written in 2002) that’s more reasonable at $130 for a used hardcover: https://www.amazon.com/Figure-Landscape-Fred-Cuming/dp/0906290392 - from the title, I assume this is the book before the one you asked about. Not sure how good this book is physically as it’s listed as “acceptable” rating.
