The amount of media coverage and public interest in the US election here in Europe makes it clear how much we are all (non-voting) subjects of an imperial government overseas. This reflects a deep cultural and cognitive subjection, even before and above the political one. 

 Italy is colonial USA land. 

 Well, all Western Europe is since 1945
