 Yesterday I learned that any modern measuring cup with painted lines on it is going to leach lead and/or other heavy metals when you wash it. Guess I need to invest in measuring cups that have the lines as part of the glass instead of painted on.

 @93672b44 Take heart, the markings are typically on the outside and you can easily get ones with markings cast with the glass (though they are more difficult to read).

 @93672b44 I keep seeing the ads in the subway about glass baby bottles, hadn’t even thought about my measuring cups thank you for sharing, I’ll be replacing.
