Plebs must do it for themselves. There are people dismissing Bitcoin in the poor class, in the middle class and the upper class. There are people gambling in all classes and there are people learning and applying themselves in all too. Bitcoin isn't a get rich quick scheme, unfortunately that is what it will seem like to everyone else but the studies will get it. Bitcoin incentivises you to learn how to live beneath your means, improve your situation, it motivates you to save. It does this because you finally have access to something you can save in, that isn't guarded by red tape requiring you to have a stable salary, that has a logical reason to keep its value and you understand why your money today sucks. The wealthy will get more wealthy, but the poor can lift themselves past those who gamble and ignore.
If someone is making less than ten dollars a day , has no access to clean water or electricity .. how the bitcoin reach them ? Isn't is convenient to say "plebs must do it for themselves " ?
This is the same for everything. If there are no schools near or accepting, how can this person expect to educate their child. Opportunities must arrise and people must take those opportunities. You don't know what you don't know so it is indeed hard for people with limited access to knowledge and resources to progress. Some will never see opportunity, which is unfortunate and some will never take opportunity, but it doesn't mean bitcoin is not for them. Even without them discovering bitcoin, the economy will get better as more people invest in and then use bitcoin, as they deprogram themselves from the free money ideologies they have and as people become more charitable because of it. Time is a silent killer for people today, but over time, the benefits outweigh the individual benefits.
I think we have a path ..beyond "let people do self discovery" .. or "let time play its hand .." #nostr .. People without power , electricity and even water .. do have a smart phone :-) .. and we can zap them if only they get on #nostr
Yes exactly, I love how the culture of zapping really picked up on #Nostr. From zapathons to now zaps found its way into the norm on Nostr.
