Packing boxes of honey with the last of my @bitcoin.rocks stickers. 👇

We just sent out honey to EIGHT different states in the FIRST DAY! Amazing ☺️

I am not a ‘builder’ but have been thinking for a long time how to integrate bitcoin more into the ‘real’ world in general and into our IRL farm business specifically. Even though we already accept Bitcoin at farmer’s markets and our farmstand, I wanted to try something that was specifically Bitcoin— Operating on a bitcoin standard with a self-hosted site backed by @btcpayserver. We happened to have a bumper harvest of honey this year and last week’s snow storm left me with enough screen time in front of the fire to finally put the pieces together.

Really stoked to participate in the circular economy with all the other amazing bitcoin business out there. Spend sats / earn sats / stack sats / zap sats!

Thanks everyone for your support of our little experiment 💛 LFG https://image.nostr.build/ab980a0a50e313a0b0324851422a271eab26c2e9065410fee6b484d9aa30b387.jpg

I normally eat local honey (or Costa Rican honey when visiting 🥹) but I'll be purchasing honey for sats the next time I need to make a purchase.

Thanks for the support man! I am definitely a huge proponent of buying local whenever possible. Something I have been thinking about is that Bitcoin makes everything local =) It opens the door to buying ‘local’ coffee from El Salvador, ‘local’ beef from Texas, etc. Our main market will (hopefully) always be loyal local customers but we are really excited to be able to share our products with more ‘local’ Bitcoiners from all over the place!
 Love it.
So so cool! And very inspiring! I’ve got a farm of my own and have some ideas I’d like to implement. Hadn’t heard of @btcpayserver I will most definitely check them out thanks for sharing!
Just bought a few jars. paid a tiny fee of a few sats fee over lightning. bam!
The time we've been anticipating has finally arrived.

Hmmm, your public key doesn't match up to the usual Lyn. 🤣
lol yeah I blocked them haha, spamming all my notes 😾
Awesome thank you 🙏🏼 just woke up more orders to pack up and send out! 💛
Have a shipment heading to Oklahoma! Excited to try the sweetsats! Will gladly trade out from my Oklahoma ladies if interested
Awesome thank you! I bet there’s a difference in taste, I love trying new honeys. We notice differences from season to season even, sometimes darker, richer, sometimes lighter.
Are all the size options in the same jar size? Or you use different sizes?

The sizes listed are different jar sizes (photos coming soon!). The two smaller sizes 8oz and 12oz are in standard hex honey jars. The extra large 44oz is in a large mason jar. Jars are expensive so cost of honey goes down in bigger jars ;-)
 Thank you!
