This is why it's best to drive older cars, or at least something completely "jailbroken" (for lack of a better term), & to know how to work on them. Fuck Tesla.

 That’s not a Tesla
Same centralized control & required updates, doesn't really matter what it is.
What an exciting future ahead where our thought crimes will cause our cars to lock us inside and drive us to the police station.
I’m no dev and just a pleb, so please excuse my lack of understanding.

Are we suppose to assume we will loose more rights and control over our lives and just let it happen? I find that assumption frustrating.

I drive a Tesla, the FSD sucks 😂 but it’s really fun to drive yourself, clean simple design and it’s the safest car for the kids. It’s also made in America which is something I want to support when I can.

I get the decentralization, but how can we make hardware and not expect some form of centralized software updates?
I rented a Tesla Model 3 over the summer when I was in Colorado and I hated it. I mean, absolutely couldn’t stand it. I wanted to take it back to the airport and exchange for literally anything else, but I didn’t have time because I was on a tight schedule. There were so many annoying things about it I probably couldn’t even describe them all. Compared to the Polestar 2 that I drove a few weeks earlier (yes, it’s made in China) it felt like a complete piece of junk. I was literally cursing Elon Musk for 3 days straight. 😂
 What made you hate it?
Ask me another time, I’m too tired to write it all out now. 😆
 Bookmarked 😂
You like or hate Tesla @Karnage?
No opinion. Don’t like the concept of downloading updates though - sounds like a rental that can get bricked any time.
 I can understand that
Well that sucks, I’ll have to test drive a Polestar
yeah ima stick to my early 90s cars and late 90s trucks for as long as i can
