Signal and Telegram both use the open-source solution WebRTC for voice and video calls.
I don't know anything about that, except that Nostr doesn't use WebRTC.
0xChat uses WebRTC for audio/video calls. One difference from Signal/Telegram solution is that we use NIP-100 for signaling and also support custom ICE servers.
I wish more clients would take NIP-100 serious. When I launched nostrspaces the biggest criticism was that it had nothing to do with nostr. Now we have NIP-100 and it's been so underutilized it makes me wonder if anyone ever really cared or just wanted to complain.

If there's a benefit to it i will consider for Corny Chat. I dont yet understand where it fits in.

nostr nests had no relation to nostr for a year+
 There is a NIP-100?
Yes, it hasn’t been merged yet

I see. You know, nostr:nprofile1qqsy2ga7trfetvd3j65m3jptqw9k39wtq2mg85xz2w542p5dhg06e5qpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszxrhwden5te0dehhxarj9enx6apwwa5h5tnzd9az7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctczcs834 says that there is no network effect with direct messages, but the whole reason I use Signal is because they managed to get half of my family onto their network. Is Keychat or 0xChat intrgrated with Signal's network? Can I can call my family with Nostr?
Although Signal is open-source, the Signal app is centralized, and only they can run the servers. We cannot interconnect with Signal.
Matti means that as long as two friends are willing to use a particular chat app, they can start using it. This is not possible for microblogging platforms.
I'm impressed with 0xchat. Go and download it if you have not.
