For anybody who isn't up to date with the Unity crap that's going on, here's a pretty good summary (it's 40 mins long). It actually took me a bit to get up to speed on it yesterday or so, but when I did... whew-wheeeeeee.

I'm sure they expected backlash... but probably not to this extent. Almost everybody (players, indie game devs, bigger game devs), agrees this is a total clown fiesta.

I am dying to see how this continues to play out, I won't lie.

You definitely know they expected backlash when the CEO sold tons of stock weeks prior to announcing the changes. The whole thing is just… whyyyyyyy.
